What is IDEA Bio?

IDEA Bio is an NCRIS and UQ funded biofoundry that offers Synthetic Biology services. It offers synthetic biology services, including fermentation and high-throughput solutions for Australian researchers and businesses. We can help design the genetic changes needed to bring products from milligrams to kilograms. In essence, we take a concept idea and turn it into a reality. We aim to make biology useful. Just like an architectural Design Studio, but for cells.
